FIRST CHRISTMAS
The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336AD, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine (First Christian Roman Emperor). A few years later, Pope Julius I officially declared that the birth of Jesus Christ would be celebrated on the 25th December.


OLDEST CHURCH IN INDIA
The oldest church in India is located at Palayur in Thrissur district in Kerela and was established in 52 A.D by St. Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ.


THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS
Christmas is a time for festivity and merry making and more than that it is a time for contemplation of eternal things. The Christmas spirit is a spirit of giving and forgiving.
